MTC Namibia Motorola Email settings on Post-Paid Connect Package

1. Press the Menu button.


2. Highlight the Messages icon and press the Select button.


3. Press the Options button.


4. Highlight Email Msg Setup and press the Select button.


5. Highlight Account Settings and press the Change button.


6. Highlight New Entry and press the Select button.


7. Highlight Account Name and press the Change button.


8. Under the Account Name text box enter MTC-Freemail for the Account.


9. Highlight Name and press the Change button.


10. Enter your Name and press the OK button.


11. Highlight User ID and press the Change button.


12. Enter your MTC Freemail user name and press the OK button.


13. Highlight Password and press the Change button.


14. Enter your MTC Freemail password and press the OK button.


15. Re-enter your MTC Freemail password and press the OK button.


16. Highlight Return address and press the Change button.


17. Enter your MTC Freemail address and press the OK button.


18. Ensure that the Protocol is set to POP3.


19. Scroll down to Sending host.


20. Highlight Sending host and press the Change button.


21. Enter smtp.mtcmobile.com.na and press the OK button.


22. Highlight Receiving host and press the Change button.


23. Enter pop.mtcmobile.com.na and press the OK button.


24. Ensure that the Sending port is set to 25.


25. Ensure that the Receiving port is set to 110.


26. Press the Done button.


27. Highlight ISP settings and press the Change button.


28. Highlight APN address and press the Change button.


29. Enter internet and press the OK button.


30. Press the Done button.


31. Press the Back button until you reach the Message Center screen.


32. Highlight Email Msgs and press the Select button.


33. Press the Yes button.


34. Your email account will now be configured.
