MTC Namibia MMS Setup for Windows Mobile

1. Start button
   
2. Settings
   
3. Connections tab
   
4. Connection
   
5. Select the Advanced tab
   
6. Select the Select Networks button
   
7. Select the New… button under the first dropdown menu
   
8. On the general tab
   
9. Enter the name for the connection: MTC-MMS
   
10. On the modem Tab
    
11. Select: New button
    
12. Connection name: MTC-MMS
    
13. Select a modem: Cellular line (GPRS)
    
14. Next
    
15. Access point name: mms
    
16. Next
    
17. User name: mmsc
    
18. Password: mmsc
    
19. Domain: blank
    
20. Finished
    
21. Select: OK and close the settings

Next step: Setup the MMS Application to use the new MTC-MMS connection
we just created.

1. Select: Start>Messaging
   
2. Select: Tools menu at the bottom of the screen
   
3. Select: MMS Settings...
   
4. On the Servers tab
   
5. Select: New button
   
6. Server Name: MTC-MMS
   
7. Gateway: 10.40.10.252
   
8. Port Number: 80
   
9. Server address: http://10.40.10.250/ or http://www.mtcmobile.com.na/
   
10. Connect via: MTC-MMS
    
11. Size: 300k (you might set this smaller)
    
12. WAP version: WAP 2.0
    
13. Select: OK
    
14. Select the MTC-MMS entry and set it to default by pressing the Set As Default button
    
15. Select: OK
